Dear Students and Parents,

In the era of rapidly evolving teaching techniques, Air Force School, Gorakhpur is making a collective effort to maintain pace. Notwithstanding, we are also to remember that over indulgence and undue dependence on Al may adversely impact the mental and physical evolution and growth of school children. Institutions providing formal education of primary and secondary level need to be very careful about this subject (issue).

It shall also be our endeavour to ensure that the human intelligence is given a fare chance for original thinking , learning and 360 degree growth of students. We must appreciate that all the semi conductors, artificial stem cells etc type of technologies do not constitute even a fraction of a single human cell, trillions of which constitute a human body. The AI based technology in schools needs to be restricted as a force multiplication tools.

Today we face a unique challenge wherein the NEP is compelling the educational institute to alter the ages old syllabus system and introduce various skill development programs from an early stage. Some out of the box ideas and thoughts would be required to factor this in the already saturated time schedule, in due course of time.

Another important issue is the dilemma faced by academicians to balance the slightly conflicting issue of “inclusive education” vs “ academic excellence”. This would need our focus to ensure that we do not slow down the learning of the outstanding performers, while including the larger spectrum of students in the formal education system to achieve the wider goal of social justice.

Lastly, I would also like to encourage the teachers and students to spend more time in outdoor activities as and when possible. The growing number of healthcare facilities are a sign of alarm which needs our attention and action in time.

The Air Force School Gorakhpur aims to realize the vision of "Centre for Academic Excellence" by sincere and dedicated efforts of one and all towards this, we are in the process of revamping the available infrastructure including labs and equipments etc, with the whole hearted support of the ED, SMC and the administration.
